The Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) has seen a rise in the number of claims involving foreign vehicles. Between 2004 and 2006, claims involving foreign vehicles rose from 17,032 to 19,621. Accidents involving vehicles from Poland, Slovakia, and Lithuania have all seen significant increases, with claims involving Polish-registered vehicles rising from 938 in 2004 to 3,132 in 2006.
