Changes to the format of major directory the Yellow Pages has seen a drop in response to its adverts of over 50% according to one broker.

Responding to the article in Insurance Age last month regarding the increase in costs to place an advert in the Thomson Directory the broker said that the format of the Yellow Pages had also been changed in favour of the big direct writers and against the general insurance intermediary.

When the directory changed its format two years ago the broker allocated
