A survey from financial services specialist FWD Research has revealed that insurance brokers remain confident the UK insurance market can weather the financial storm. According to the study, almost half of UK brokers (47%) have not changed their opinions about the strength and resilience of insurers since the credit crunch began. Two-thirds of brokers (68%) dismissed as unlikely the possibility of a top 10 UK insurer failing this year.
