Iceland-based insurance firm, European Risk Insurance Company (ERIC), has announced its intention to expand its range of insurance cover, increase its number of brokers, and break into European markets within the next 18 months.

The company, which currently specialises in employer, public and product liability insurance, told Insurance Age that it was ready to extend its insurance cover into the property market where, using a dedicated property underwriter, it expects to be active by next year
