Eleanor Linton, Financial Services Authority (FSA) head of policy for the high-street firms division, has warned brokers that, although the final Conduct of Business (CoB) rules will not be published until January, they should not "use this as an excuse to put off any decisions as to whether they are 'in or out'".

Ms Linton said the CoB rules will remain more or less intact as they are. "The consultation period will close shortly but we do not expect to make any dramatic changes. The key themes

The Financial Conduct Authority has issued a warning of fraudsters trying to scam people by pretending to be short-term car insurance specialist broker Tempcover including on TikTok.
