CBG Group has produced a 43% rise in pre-tax profits to £718,000 (2006: £501,000) for the first half of 2007. The Manchester-based company also reported a 48% increase in revenue, 17% underlying organic growth in revenue and a 27% increase in diluted earnings per share to 4.23p (2006: 3.32p). Laurie Turnbull, chairman of CBG, said: "We look forward to further opportunities for our staff and management to provide growth and expansion in the period ahead."
