Fortis Insurance and UK Underwriting (UKU) have announced a five-year partnership, with an annual value of over £50m gross written premiums.

The insurer replaces Axa as majority capacity provider at the Primary Group subsidiary.

The deal was hammered out in detailed discussions between Fortis UK CEO Barry Smith, Primary Group CEO Philip James and representatives from their teams.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
