FSA imposes fines on motor retailers

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has imposed fines totalling more than £175,000 on five motor retailers - GK Group, George White Motors, Ringways Garages and Park's of Hamilton - for serious breaches relating to the sale of payment protection insurance. The FSA found that their combined actions had exposed 2,175 customers to the risk of being sold unsuitable policies.
