Footman James joined forces with Firebond shortly after the owner of the Midlands-based classics specialist, Aon, acquired the specialist broker. Based in Cambridge and Bingley West Yorkshire, Firebond's primary class of insurance is classic and Land Rover vehicles, which represents 75% of its revenue. Paul Matthews, managing director at Footman James, welcomed the acquisition: "With our backing, Firebond customers will also benefit from our buying power, resources and infrastructure."
