Equity Insurance has further consolidated its presence in Northern Ireland with the acquisition of County Tyrone broker Martin Sheehy. Established in 1970, the business is based in Cookstown, and provides both personal lines and commercial insurance products. The purchase has boosted Equity's presence in Northern Ireland to 20 branches, building on its acquisition of Open + Direct in January.
