Allianz Cornhill looking to recruit new agencies
Allianz Cornhill is looking to recruit up to 150 new agencies, ceo Andrew Torrance revealed at the presentation of third quarter results. Between 200-300 agencies have so far been established this year as the insurer went looking for brokers, and Mr Torrance said 100-150 more would bring the total up to the right number. Personal lines broker business continued to decline significantly, with premiums down by 20%, while Allianz Cornhill's direct premium income was up 1% on 2004. Reiterating
