• Tesco makes commercial push
Retail giant Tesco said it plans to make a major push into the commercial insurance market. Revealing profits for Tesco Personal Finance of £202m, the company said it planned to grow its van insurance business as well as its travel and home insurance books. It currently has 1.4 million motor policies, one million travel insurance policies and 260,000 pet policies.
