Regional insurers give a better service and maintain stronger relation-ships with broker partners than insurers without regional offices, according to research commissioned by LV.
The survey of 250 UK brokers revealed that 64% of regional brokers and 60% of provincial brokers felt the quality of service was best in regional insurance offices, while only 12% preferred working with head offices. The preference was attributed to regionals' better personalised service; 57% added that regional
