After reporting record profits, Fortis Insurance is planning to broaden its product range with new offerings for young drivers, multi-vehicle policies and mid-net-worth household in 2007.
Fortis saw overall profit before tax increase by 16.8% to £77.5m (2005: £66.4m), while its gross written premium (GWP) increased by 15.4% to £688.3m. The insurer also reported a rise in commission income by 28% to £77.3m from its retail businesses - RIA, Outright and Text2Insure. This group also includes
