Bluefin Insurance Services has acquired the general insurance business of Lakeland Insurance Services. Windermere-based Lakeland has 2,000 clients and specialises in guesthouse insurance. Its directors Eileen Holmes, Malcolm Dand and Ruth Dand and their team joined Bluefin in February.
