Junction, the affinity division of Budget, has won the tender to be the third-party partner for the launch of the joint venture between the Post Office and Bank of Ireland into the car insurance market. Junction beat off competition from a panel of 10 providers initially invited to tender, and will provide a panel of 22 insurers. Post Office Car Insurance is scheduled to launch this summer and will utilise the Post Office's 16,500 branches, which form one of the largest retail networks in Europe
