Halifax announces fraud pilot with Crawford & Company

Halifax General Insurance Services has selected Crawford & Company’s counter fraud solutions division to assist their internal special investigations team. This pilot contract will run over six months effective from 1st January 2004. A decision to possibly extend the relationship will be taken at the end of the pilot.

This relationship will see Halifax General Insurance working in partnership with Crawford, assisting in terms of field investigations and desktop claims as well as supporting Halifax’s own internal investigations on home and travel claims.
