Overseas homeowners warned to be more vigilant

Health and safety expert Check Safety First has warned overseas homeowners to be more vigilant before renting out their properties abroad.

Over one million people from the UK own property abroad, most of which are let out to non-family members throughout some point in the year. However, according to Check Safety First, the number of homeowners who are reported to have inadequate public liability insurance or none at all is ‘quite alarming.’
