Broker Network chief defends road show

Broker Network chief executive, Grant Ellis, has hit back at market claims that the recent Broker Network Roadshow was a fire-fighting exercise to prevent a mass exodus of members in the wake of the Towergate takeover news.

“It wasn’t surprising that our competitors chose to mischievously label our Roadshow as an attempt to avoid a mass exodus of Members. The fact is, nothing could be further from the truth. We wanted members to hear at first hand what the deal means for them, and to give them the chance to pose questions and to get honest answers within an open forum,” he said.
