Oval among 100 fastest growing companies

The Oval group has been named one of Britain’s one hundred fastest-growing private companies in the latest Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 annual league table.

Now in its eleventh year, the national league table ranks Britain’s one hundred private companies with the fastest growing sales over a three-year period, to their latest available accounts.

Oval ranked at number 75 amongst household names such as fruit drinks maker Innocent, premium pudding maker Gü Chocolate Puds, pram manufacturer Silver Cross, organic produce home delivery firm Abel & Cole, and potato chips producer Tyrrells Potato Chips.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
