Real Insurance Brokers acquire GIS Insurance Consultants

The Mansfield based broker, Real Insurance, announced its acquisition of local broker, GIS Insurance Consultants.

Real Insurance, who is a Layton Blackham Business Solutions Partner, acquired the commercial book of GIS. The acquisition forms part of the overall expansion plans of Real, which includes strategic organic growth and a view to acquire further commercial intermediaries. Steve Taylor, managing director of Real said: "Being a Layton Blackham Business Solutions Partner provides us the tools and acquisition know-how we need to make quick decisions and move faster to meet our growth plans."
