Assurant Solutions acquires Centrepoint Insurance

Assurant Solutions, a specialist in creating, underwriting and administering niche insurance protection products, has acquired Centrepoint Insurance Services(Centrepoint), a leading distributor of buildings and contents (B&C) and mortgage payment protection insurance (MPPI) to financial intermediaries.

The acquisition of Centrepoint, along with the previously announced acquisition in July of Swansure Group, another leading mortgage market intermediary, accelerates Assurant Solutions’ growth in the UK mortgage market and establishes it as a leader in the UK intermediary market.
