Speculation continues over Gallagher’s plans

Arthur J Gallagher has barely been out of the press over the last year. Since its purchase of Giles in September 2013, the broker has continued to make changes at a rate other companies can only wonder at.

One recent change was the appointment of ex-RSA CEO for UK and Western Europe Adrian Brown as executive chairman of underwriting and distribution. And in his first interview with the press in early September, Brown confirmed that acquisitions in personal lines are “absolutely on the table” for
