Lack of support leaves insurance wanting

It has been a week in which insurers have taken a real battering due to Monday's well-documented episode of Dispatches on Channel 4.

Indeed, the allegations for all concerned in the private motor insurance market were at best concerning and at worst downright damaging to a sector that is already subject to an investigation by the Competition Commission. 

However, instead of wasting further column inches on an issue that has already been covered to death in recent days, I would like to draw attention to a story that sneaked out just before the festive break - already a distant memory.

Brokers upbeat on 2024 growth – Aviva

Brokers are more optimistic about growth in the coming year than they have been since before 2020, according to Aviva, with 83% expecting their business to grow compared to 76% last year.
