Out of the ordinary?


Arriving at the South Woodham Ferrers train station just nine miles south of Chelmsford, you would be forgiven for thinking you had landed in a particularly isolated part of the country. Built in the mid 1970s, it is mostly a commuter town, though it is certainly hard to imagine that London is only a 40 minute journey away.
