Aviva among capacity backers of Lloyd’s coverholder Indemni

Freight risk management and insurance platform Indemni has launched as an approved Lloyd’s coverholder, sponsored by Chaucer Syndicate 1084.

The firm has received additional capacity backed by Aviva, Atrium, Blenheim, and Talbot.

The company has also announced $4m (£3.02m) of investment from Field Ventures and Diagram Ventures in its latest funding round.

Founded by Zach En’Wezoh, CEO, and Omar Draz, COO, Indemni was created to address the lack of reliable verification before cargo leaves the dock, which the business claimed was a critical weakness in freight security.
