FCA alerts of Kent-based broker clone
Quotemetoday.co.uk has made clear it has no affiliation with Quote Me Go as the Financial Conduct Authority has reported fraudsters have been impersonating the Kent-headquartered broker.
According to the genuine site, the broker provides cover for business, fleet and vehicle, drive school, HGV, and travel insurance.
When it issued the alert on 1 October the FCA stressed the real firm has no connection with the fraudsters.
The scammers website is not live at time of writing.
MessageIn a message on its website, Quotemetoday stated: “We’ve become aware that a company trading as “Quote Me Go” is referring to itself as part of quotemetoday.co.uk. Ltd and displaying our FCA reference
