Momentum broker launches with ex-Erskine Murray boss backing

CPC Insurance Brokers has launched, with backing from former Erskine Murray owner Tom Bartleet. Founder of the new firm, Paul Huntley, has highlighted the buzz from getting his first client along with the importance of building trust over the long term.

The Momentum-appointed representative described the launch last month as just a normal day, and explained: “Unless you’ve done work prior to launch, you will sit there and go ‘what am I meant to do?’”

The biggest buzz was the first invoice, Huntley said.

“My first invoice was not worth the paper it was written on, but the buzz [was] the emotion you get from actually going: ‘I’ve done it.’”
