Bridge builds turnover in run-up to Gallagher sale

Bridge Insurance Brokers expanded by 4.8% in the financial year before being snapped up by Gallagher, but rising costs cut profits.

Gallagher bought the Manchester-headquartered fellow Top 100 UK broker this April.

A filing at Companies House has shown ahead of the deal Bridge’s turnover rose to £19m for the year ended 31 March 2026.

Established in 1970 as a family-owned commercial insurance broker, Bridge specialises in real estate, construction, corporate and private client insurance.
