CII confirms 53 new chartered broker individuals in first half of 2026

The Chartered Insurance Institute awarded chartered status to 53 brokers in the first half of the year, among 195 insurance professionals that achieved the status.

The breakdown of the figures for January to June 2026 revealed broking experts were the second largest part of the wave of chartered specialists.

The Chartered Insurance Institute has awarded corporate chartered status to 11 firms in the first half of 2026, including one general insurance broker.

There were 86 new chartered insurer employees, 43 chartered insurance practitioners, eight chartered underwriters and five chartered risk managers.
