Allianz Commercial staff restructure came in response to broker efficiency demands

Colm Holmes, CEO of Allianz UK, has highlighted broker requests and market conditions led to the management restructure, as he emphasised the insurer’s best years are ahead.

Last month, it was reported that Allianz Commercial UK was set to restructure its management layers, merging branch and regional management roles, leading to staff cuts.

The insurer has not made any updates on how many people will be impacted by the changes. The consultation period was expected to conclude by the end of July, with the new operating model set to go live in September.

Peach and owner grow in 2025
