SSP gears up for purchasing drive after restructure

SSP’s Martyn Mathews has been tasked with spending money on M&A, as the software provider has restructured with Mathews leading its UK and Ireland business.

From 1 July 2026, SSP will operate as two separate business entities, SSP UK and Ireland, and SSP Worldwide. 

As managing director Mathews, pictured, will focus on working with brokers, insurers and MGAs across the UK and Ireland, with growth targeted through strategic M&A and expansion into emerging segments such as the MGA market.

SSP Worldwide will be led by MD Stuart Redfearn and operate in APAC, Africa, North America and the Caribbean.

The software provider claimed the update has been designed

Hiscox maintains UK expansion pace in Q1
