Liberty launches crypto protection product
Liberty Specialty Markets has launched a dedicated product for financial institutions operating in the cryptocurrency market.
The product, designed for European crypto-asset service providers, offers limits up to €3m (£2.61m).
Coverage includes risks related to professional liability, management errors, theft and fraud.
LSM listed it will support a range of providers including traditional banks, asset managers, and blockchain startups.
The complex risks associated with that are however a major strategic issue for financial institutions.
