Sam White’s Freedom Services Group adds David Williams as first NED

Former Axa leader David Williams has joined Freedom Services Group, consisting of managing general agent Pukka, Freedom Brokers and claims management service Action 365, as a non-executive director, Insurance Age can reveal.

Freedom chair Sam White hailed the arrival of Williams who signed on the dotted line in the last fortnight.

“He is truly unique in our market,” she told Insurance Age listing his “experience and traditional knowledge of the insurance market”, enthusiasm, curiosity and “sharp as button brain that really does set him apart”.

White revealed that she had repeatedly tried to recruit Williams from Axa over the years but had always accepted his commitment to the insurer.
