Aston Lark buys MS Amlin division
The broker has purchased specialist marine pleasure craft insurance provider, Haven Knox-Johnston, for an undisclosed sum.
MS Amlin has sold its pleasure craft operation, Haven Knox-Johnston to Aston Lark for an undisclosed sum.
M&A adviser to the insurer, IMAS, revealed that it was retained by MS Amlin in 2019 to advise the group on its strategic options for the Haven business, including a potential sale. At the same time MS Amlin announced the exit of nine business lines which prompted a large number of enquiries in the Haven business.
