Lark 2016 results show growth

Turnover and Ebitda both grew for the Lark Group holding company as it posts last set of results prior to Aston Scott deal.

The holding company for broker Lark Group has posted an increase in turnover, Ebitda and profit before tax for the year ended December 31 2016.

Turnover has increased by 3.0% to £28.7m (2015: £27.8m) and Ebitda by 6.2% to £7.1m (2015: £6.7m).

Meanwhile profit before tax also grew to £4.7m from £3.6m the previous year.

According to the statement the 3.0% increase in turnover was derived predominantly from the group’s insurance broking activities arising from organic growth and new business
