Expo South 2013: Brokers will go out of business if they avoid social media
Delegates at the 2013 Broker Expo South heard today that if they do not grasp the digital world, they “will go out of business”.
Dave Hazelhurst, director of search at Ph.Creative, told attendees that we are living in Generation C – “generation connected”.
He acknowledged that “a lot of people are afraid of social media”, and advised attendees to engage with as many social media outlets as possible, likening them to TV channels.
He pointed out that different TV channels carry different advertisements, as they are geared towards different audiences.
He added: “Buyers make decisions in different ways.” Hazelhurst stated:
