SSP and Wunelli to launch "mass market" telematics offering for brokers
SSP and Wunelli have targeted bringing brokers "in from the telematics cold" with a telematics-based private motor insurance policy.
The offering, called SoteriaDrive, has been hailed as the "first mass market" telematics product designed to be used on smartphones, as opposed to black boxes.
It will be launched at the British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) conference next month.
Jonathan Davey, SSP Pure Broking and Keychoice managing director, said: "Local independent brokers are at the heart of the insurance industry and have been left out in the cold as far as telematics based private motor insurance is concerned.
