Zurich is urging brokers to support businesses by offering them advice on what they can do to reduce the risk of flooding to their property. There are a number of measures, which help protect premises, including inspecting and cleaning gutters and storing vulnerable stock on pallets. During the last five years, 300,000 SMEs have been hit by floods, costing them £864m.
