The Association of British Insurers has announced that businesses will face a 5% rise in employers' liability insurance as a result of the government's plans for the NHS to recover the cost of treating victims of workplace accidents. The move comes at a time when EL premiums are currently rising by between 10% and 15% a year, largely due to the increasing cost of personal injury claims.
