Results from a pilot accreditation scheme by the Financial Services Skills Council show the training of staff produces a significant increase in business and return on investment. Norwich Union Life had a 24% increase in self-generated appointments and an overall increase in sales productivity of 27% in just five weeks at the FSSC Accreditation of Training Excellence scheme. The accreditation scheme will begin in spring 2005 following the completion of pilot projects in January 2005.
