▶ How did it feel to be promoted to CEO?
I was proud. I had set my stall out to the chairman and the previous CEO. I have been with Biba for 10 years now. I know the association very well, know the members and had quite a level of visibility from my time with the regional compliance forum process. I was delighted to be given the chance to take on the association at a hugely busy time in its history.
▶ What did you fear most when you took on the role?
I had never addressed an audience of 1,200
