UK General leader Karen Beales targeting £500m GWP within three years
Personal lines boss hails broker reaction to Great Lakes capacity deal.
Karen Beales, managing director of personal lines at UK General has committed the firm to retaining its schemes focus once the three-year deal with Great Lakes kicks in.
The deal with Ageas had been in place since January 2009 and comes to an end on 31 March. Beales reiterated her praise for the provider saying the decision to split had been "mutual".
Looking to the future she hailed the opportunity that the deal with Great Lakes, part of Munich Re, would bring to the Leeds-based specialist.
