Gallagher to close Rayleigh office

Twenty five staff will be affected.

Arthur J Gallagher is closing down its office in Rayleigh, Essex, at the end of March, impacting 25 staff.

The Rayleigh branch used to trade as Giles Insurance Brokers before the business was purchased by Gallagher in 2013.

The acquisition saw Gallagher have over 70 offices and 3,100 staff in the UK and the firm could now be looking at cutting down its number of offices as part of the integration process.

The office contained both retail business and staff for managing general agent Ink
