Management team buys Hayes Parsons

Managing director James Woollam plans to grow the business further in its specialist fields.

The management team of Hayes Parsons Insurance, led by managing director James Woollam, has completed a management buy-out of the company for an undisclosed sum.

George Hayes founded the Bristol-based broker 51 years ago and was still chairman of the company prior to the buy-out.

Speaking to Insurance Age, Woollam explained that the buy-out was a natural next step for the business.

"We want to push the business forward and our target is to have a £40m GWP.
