The broker is now SEIB Insurance Brokers to reflect its nationwide and international business.

South Essex Insurance Brokers has rebranded itself as SEIB Insurance Brokers to reflect that it places business both nationally and internationally.

Ecclesiastical-owned SEIB said it will continue to work with SMEs in the UK to provide specialist insurance products in the equine and funeral industries, as well as private hire and rural taxi products.

CEO Barry Fehler said: "SEIB has grown steadily over the 50 years it has been in business and has nationwide clients in a number of niche business

Emily Shepperd, chief operating officer of the Financial Conduct Authority, has said the regulator was “overwhelmed” at the response and amount of feedback to its transparency proposals, and that it is going to “really take our time” when considering any possible next steps.
