Talbir Bains leaves QBE Europe

David Hall takes over motor portfolio until replacement is appointed after departure of Bains.

QBE Europe has confirmed that Talbir Bains, retail motor & business performance director, has left the business.

David Hall, retail managing director, will assume responsibility of the motor portfolio, supported by Matthew Crane, director of middle market and SME, and MI head Chris Dew, until a replacement is appointed.

The insurer said in a statement: "We'd like to thank Talbir for his contribution to QBE and to wish him well for the future."
