Managing general agency wants more face-to-face trading.

Incorporated Insurance Group has said they plan to start doing business with brokers over Skype and Lync, after recently installing cameras for all their team.

Chief executive Mike Smith said: "We run a business based on trading with our partner brokers who have offices up and down the country.

"Our experience shows us that the best business is written face-to-face, which is why we have invested in regional development managers with the powers to write business in brokers' offices."

He added:

Emily Shepperd, chief operating officer of the Financial Conduct Authority, has said the regulator was “overwhelmed” at the response and amount of feedback to its transparency proposals, and that it is going to “really take our time” when considering any possible next steps.
