Peter Blanc has admitted that he was not the right person for the integration role at Arthur J Gallagher.

His resignation from the post of CEO for UK retail at Gallagher was announced yesterday, and Blanc told Insurance Age: "The reality for the next year or two is that the main job for the CEO of that business is going to be integration and operational stuff and that is not what I want to spend all my time doing.
