SSP launches application fraud identification tool

Software house will flag up suspicious changes of information.

SSP has launched a new behavioural analytics tool to identify insurance application fraud.

The solution monitors data input and changes to key risk information, and incorporates “fingerprinting” technology that will allow the identification of devices being used to obtain cover.

According to SSP the tool will “analyse consumers’ risk data and flag up to intermediaries and insurers when applicants are suspected of changing their information suspiciously”.
